Donnagh Mayock - Hamlet

Donnagh is playing the role of Laertes in Hamlet, for Shakespeare in Schools which will be touring Ireland throughout September and October.

He is a new addition to us here at Treehause and has exceptional musical skills in a variety of instruments, as well as a talent for acting.

The ghost of the King of Denmark tells his son Hamlet to avenge his murder by killing the new king, Hamlet's uncle. Hamlet feigns madness, contemplates life and death, and seeks revenge. His uncle, fearing for his life, also devises plots to kill Hamlet. The play ends with a duel, during which the King, Queen, Hamlet's opponent and Hamlet himself are all killed.

It will tour to Clasac Theatre in Clontarf, Smock Alley Theatre in Temple Bar and Dean Crowe Theatre in Athlone.
